Version 9.1 introduces new interfaces and DFM tools, as well as enhanced editing tools. These improvements will bring significant value to both new and existing users. Among the new DFMs are the Gold Tie Bar Generation, ensuring that all Gold Plated pads are connected to plating bars, and the Galvanic Etch compensation, improving soft-control over chemical etching in OSP processes. This two DFMs act automatically, replacing time-consuming manual operations and slashing cycle time from hours to minutes.

Genesis V9.1 also introduces new editing tools. Trace re-routing, Automatic PCB numbering, and Tear Drop enhancements to enable faster, easier and more secure one-up and panel editing. New Bitmap input processes, and a dedicated Graphic interface to Orbotech DI machines; enable a more efficient and more integrated interface with customers and machinery at the shop floor.
